Long ago, my ancestors were vikings. And as a project last year while I was doing level 4 wood workshop, I created a wooden box covered in Nordic runes that the vikings used. I did a little self study and really got into it. Earlier this year, I re-read what I had done because my brother was so interested in it, and I started writing a journal in the runes. This picture here is just a simple journal entry using the runes. Some words are really easy to understand. For example the word ‘to’ and ‘it’s’. After a little practice, I am fluent in writing with the runes now. There are a couple runes I haven’t found yet such as ‘Q’. I enjoy writing in my special journal in this language because no-body else I know can read it.
